“Brazil-Portugal Film Series” In another cultural promotion, the Consulate General of Brazil in Toronto is organizing a “Brazil-Portugal Film Series”. The initiative is carried through in coordination with the Consulate of Portugal, York University, University of Toronto and the Camões Institute and it has the purpose of presenting movies in Portuguese language to a public of predominantly university students.   The Series are based on literary work taken to the cinema by movie directors from Brazil and Portugal.   It will be presented the following movies during the year:  “War of Canudos”, ”Blindness”, “The Mystery of Sintra”,  “Fated Love”  and  “Foreign Land”. by - 4/21/2009 more...
